The early part of my career was spent working in the private sector for 13 years, for a large financial software company, in training, consultancy and customer support roles. Then I moved on to the public sector, managing finance in the education sector for 18 years. I’m ICB Level 4 qualified and a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.

Working with an ever evolving business and a caring, sharing team.

I enjoy travelling, walking and sharing meals with family and friends. I’m a regular visitor to my health club, enjoying a good downward dog, and a large latte afterwards.

I've worked in Finance for over 22 years in various roles but I've never enjoyed a role as much as this one, every day is different and interesting. I’m AAT Level 4 qualified, Xero Certified Advisor and a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.

Love being part of a software that I really believe in. Being able to combine my love of numbers and people.

I love to laugh, whether that's with family or friends. I'm pretty competitive so I love sports and games, the more people the better. :)

It's been over 15 years of working in accounting and finance for me now, gaining my NVQ with the AAT and lots of experience in varying fields in an accountancy practice, and finance roles in different industries along the way.

It's not often you genuinely get both in a role - working with a great product that really delivers, and doing that alongside a fantastic team that actually cares - Link My Books does both for me and that makes it special! 🤩

I love to spend time with friends, get out on the water paddleboarding, visit new places and do volunteer work that I’m passionate about - variety makes life exciting! 🎉

I dove into the world of accounting and earned my stripes with the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification. It was a journey filled with late-night study sessions and lots of coffee, but oh-so worth it!

Fast forward to 2012, and I was proudly waving the flag of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Yep, I made it through the hoops and hurdles to earn that prestigious qualification.

I've danced my way through both the accountancy practice and industry scenes, soaking up knowledge and experience like a sponge.

My favourite thing about being in the Link My Books team is that we're like a bunch of puzzle pieces 🧩 - each one unique, but when we come together, we create something pretty awesome!

In my rare moments of freedom, you'll likely find me either sweating it out at the gym 🏋️♀️, enjoying a peaceful walk with my dog 🐕 , or escaping to my garden oasis where I tend to my beloved flowers 🌸🌷🌻. Being outside, away from technology, allows me to recharge and reconnect with nature. And let's not forget my latest obsession: my new allotment, where I'm trying my hand at growing veggies 🥕🥔🌽🍅.
